Qualification:

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an electrical-related field.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Demonstrated solid work history.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Enrolled in post-high school education for the Fall 2024 semester.
  • Completion of at least one year in a related field (preferred).
  • Considered a full-time student with a course load of 12 credits or more.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions effectively.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable and responsible work ethic.
  • Positive attitude towards work.
  • Adaptability to a flexible work schedule and the ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully complete safety training and demonstrate compliance with departmental safety policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in Waupaca Foundry’s 6-S Program to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Familiarize yourself with company process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs).
  • Learn and assist electricians in making electrical adjustments to machinery and software to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with electrical staff to provide support for conduit, wiring, troubleshooting, machine repair, panel building, and other assigned duties.
  • Assist in the maintenance updates of electrical schematics and PLC/Robot programs.
