International Student Scholarships

SEMO International Student Scholarships-Graduate 2024

Details:

For overseas students seeking a master’s degree in any topic the university offers, Southeast Missouri State University provides the SEMO International Student Scholarships-Graduate 2024. Applications can be turned in at any time of the year.

Requirements:

  • A Southeast cumulative 3.0 GPA is required of applicants (may include Southeast summer hours).
  • If a student receives a scholarship from an outside or institutional source to help with tuition and fees, they are not eligible.
  • If a student receives the Nonresident Alumni Award or becomes a Missouri resident for fee-paying purposes, they will not be eligible for any overseas scholarships.
  • Recipients of scholarships must continue to study full-time each semester and provide proof of their legal status in the country.
  • Only freshman awards are available to incoming students with fewer than 24 hours of college credit; transfer awards are only available to students with 24 hours or more of credit.
  • Awards for undergraduates and graduates are limited to the first bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Benefits:

  • The beneficiary of the scholarship will receive a grant of $1,000.
  • The scholarship can only be used to cover tuition fees.
