Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering (environmental, mechanical, chemical, or a related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for environmental sustainability.
- Eager to learn about the engineering aspects of waste treatment and disposal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (familiarity with CAD software a plus).
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with design and development projects related to Stericycle’s processing facilities and equipment.
- Participate in site visits to assess current processes and identify potential improvements for efficiency and sustainability.
- Conduct research and analyze data to support engineering decisions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of environmentally friendly solutions for waste management.
- Gain exposure to environmental regulations and compliance procedures.
