Join our team as a Media Communication Specialist!

Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for global issues? Do you have expertise in translating complex topics into engaging media content? This is your chance to make a difference!

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A university degree in communication, journalism, political science/social science & international relations, or public health
  • Proven ability to create compelling media materials (written, visual, and audio) in Arabic and English
  • Experience developing and implementing communication strategies, media products, and outreach plans
  • Strong conceptual thinking, consensus-building, and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of NGO missions and goals
  • Solid understanding of public health issues (preferred)

Language skills:

  • Fluent written and spoken English is required
  • Knowledge of another UN language (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) is a plus

What you’ll do:

  • Transform technical content into engaging media communication materials
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media representatives
  • Conduct regular media monitoring to identify trends and advise on opportunities
  • Organize and lead media communication training workshops
