U.S. Mission to the EU Public Affairs Section (PAS) Annual Program Statement

The U.S. Mission to the European Union’s Public Affairs Section (USEU PA) offers funding opportunities through its Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program. This program supports projects that strengthen ties between the United States and the European Union (EU). It emphasizes programs that:

  • Highlight shared values
  • Promote greater transatlantic cooperation
  • Include an American cultural element or connection with U.S. experts/organizations

Application Requirements

  • Eligible applicants include:
    • Legally recognized non-profit organizations
    • Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
    • Think tanks
    • Academic institutions
    • All applicants must comply with U.S. and EU regulations.
    • EU-based applicants must be registered in the EU Transparency Register.
  • Cost-sharing is encouraged but not required.
  • All applicants must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) from SAM.gov and a valid registration on the platform.
  • Only one proposal per organization is allowed.
