Summary:

The Fulbright Kalam Climate Fellowships for Doctoral Research 2025-2026 offer fully funded opportunities for Indian nationals pursuing a PhD in areas such as Energy Studies, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and more. Administered by the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), this program aims to foster long-term capacity building and mutual understanding between the United States and India in climate research and education. Application Requirements:

– Applicants must be registered for a Ph.D. at an Indian institution by November 1, 2023.
– Adequate research in the relevant field, including identification of resources in India and the U.S., is required.
– One recommendation letter from the Ph.D. supervisor addressing the applicant’s research and the need for the fellowship is mandatory.
– The expected Ph.D. thesis submission date should be at least three months after the end date of the Fulbright-Kalam grant.
