OeAW Incoming Fellowship

Supporting International Researchers

Summary:

The OeAW offers fellowships to outstanding researchers worldwide, inviting them for short-term visits to experience the unique working environment and support provided by the Academy. Eligible applicants include those seeking Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships or ERC Starting/Consolidator Grants. The fellowship provides a monthly research grant of up to €8,100, administrative support, and training during the stay at OeAW.

Application Requirements:

Highly qualified researchers from all disciplines can apply. The application should be completed in English and include an application form, a letter of recommendation, an invitation letter from an OeAW institute director, and a statement of interest from the incoming fellow.

Fellowship Benefits:

Reimbursement of up to €8,100 per fellow (maximum €2,700 per month for 3 months) plus travel costs for one round trip.

Fellowship Type:

Research grant-in-aid for international incoming fellows.

Award Fellowships:

The OeAW Director of Institutes and Infrastructure awards the fellowship.
