Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (sophomore or junior level preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for numbers.
  • A keen interest in the electric vehicle industry and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is essential.
  • Basic understanding of financial modeling and accounting principles a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for EV projects.
  • Gain exposure to financial modeling software used in the automotive industry.
  • Support with research and analysis of EV market trends and competitor strategies.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be comfortable with change and flexible in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll take a collaborative approach to achieve ambitious goals. Here’s what else you’ll bring:

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program for Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field as a Sophomore or higher
  • Must be able to work from Tysons, VA in the Scout Motors office from mid-May to mid-August 2024.
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
