Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Intern

Summary:

Do you have a passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued? Join MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) as a Summer 2024 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB) Intern. Gain hands-on experience promoting diversity and inclusion within a leading financial institution and help build a culture of belonging for all employees.

Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, sociology, business, communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
• Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated interest in organizational culture and employee engagement (a plus).

Responsibilities:

• Assist the DEIB team in developing and implementing initiatives that foster a sense of belonging.
• Conduct research and analysis related to diversity, equity, and inclusion trends and best practices.
• Support the creation and delivery of educational programs, workshops, and events on DEIB topics.
• Collaborate on communication campaigns to promote awareness and understanding of DEIB initiatives.
• Assist with tracking and analyzing data related to diversity and inclusion metrics.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and projects.
