Full Funding for Outstanding Scientists in Science, Engineering, Agriculture, and Medicine

Summary:

The J.C. Bose Fellowship 2024, provided by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) in India, offers full funding for researchers pursuing a Research Fellow/Scientist degree in the fields of Science, Engineering, Agriculture, and Medicine. This selective fellowship aims to recognize outstanding performance and provides a research fund and stipend. It is open to Indian nationals.

Application Requirements:

  • Eligible candidates should be active scientists with a proven record of exceptional performance, demonstrated by receiving the SS Bhatnagar prize and/or fellowship from science academies in engineering, agriculture, or medicine.
  • Nominees must be Indian nationals working in institutions in India and should not be receiving any other government fellowship.
  • The nominee should be in service at the time of nomination.

Fellowship Benefits:

  • Monthly fellowship amount of Rs. 25,000 in addition to regular income.
  • Research grant of Rs. 15.00 lakh per annum.
  • Overhead funding of Rs. 1.00 lakh per annum for the host institute.

Fellowship Type:

Full Funding for Research Fellow/Scientist degrees.
