Scholarship Details

The Geoff Mercer Award at Australian National University 2024 is provided by the Australian National University (ANU) and is open to all nationalities. The scholarship is offered for Masters and PhD degrees in the field of Population Health. The value of the scholarship is partial funding, up to AUD 1,500.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Geoff Mercer Award at Australian National University 2024, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in the Research School of Population Health.
  • Have completed an application for funding support that is judged by the Selection Committee to be the most likely to enhance the pursuit of the applicant’s academic goals.

Application Process

The Award application will consist of a maximum two-page single-spaced request and justification for an activity to assist in the pursuit of their academic goals and should address the criteria as outlined. These include the academic merit of the proposed activity, the benefit of the activity to the student, and the benefit of the proposed activity to the School. Applications should be sent to scholarships.committee.nceph@anu.edu.au.
