Summary:

The Student Service Program by School the World offers a unique and inspiring service experience for high school students. During their trip to Honduras, students get to immerse themselves in a new culture, make new friends, fulfill service hours, and create lasting relationships with the kids in the community.

Program Aim:

The program’s objective is to facilitate the expansion of infrastructure by constructing a new playground or school facility. Every group contributes money and takes part in the project’s later stages of building. The majority of the week is spent by the students working on the project and connecting with the kids in a village in Southern Honduras as they develop close relationships via reciprocal learning. The curriculum also highlights exposure to and comprehension of different cultures as a crucial aspect of the learning process. Students get the opportunity to witness the splendor of Honduran culture while on their tour.
