The Joan Lambrides Scholarship is intended for undergraduate students (including honors programs) pursuing studies in languages, music, and/or arts. It was established in 2020 by Gary Lambrides with the support of Alumni Friends, the scholarship recognizes Gary’s mother, Joan Lambrides, who attended UQ as a mature-age student, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1981.
Joan Lambrides Scholarship focuses on supporting students facing their own challenges in life, fostering passions for languages, music, and literature across multiple languages.
