Climate Champions Youth Fellowship 2025

Climate Champions Youth Fellowship 2025 is a paid, nine-month program designed to engage early- to mid-career professionals in driving climate action. Fellows will work closely with the Climate Champions Team to mobilize non-state actors, aiming to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement in collaboration with the UNFCCC, the Marrakech Partnership, and COP Presidencies.

Climate Champions Youth Fellowship 2025 Focus Areas:

Participants will concentrate on one of the following sectors:

  • Core Campaigns: Engage in the Race To Zero and Race To Resilience initiatives.
  • Systems Transformation: Work on critical sectors such as finance and track signals of change.
  • Stakeholder and Policy Engagement: Foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic Communications and Events: Support strategic messaging and event coordination related to climate action.

Climate Champions Youth Fellowship Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: 18-30 years as of January 1, 2025
  • Experience: At least five years of full-time work or volunteering experience in relevant sectors, climate leadership, or community organizing
  • Commitment: Ability to dedicate a minimum of 16 hours per week
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, self-motivation, flexibility to work across time zones, and an adequate network relevant to sector-specific or climate-related work
  • Technical Requirements: Access to a laptop and reliable internet connectivity
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English; additional languages may be preferred for certain roles
  • Values Alignment: Commitment to the Climate Champions Team’s mission to enhance non-state actor commitments to the Paris Agreement..
