Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field (minimum sophomore year)
- Strong academic performance with a focus on relevant coursework
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Creo, etc.) and design software (Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, etc.) (a plus)
- Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design thinking methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Assist senior consultants with various project phases, including user research, concept development, prototyping, and design for manufacturability.
- Gain exposure to the exciting field of connected physical products, where physical objects integrate with digital technologies (IoT).
- Participate in client meetings (as appropriate) and develop strong communication skills.
- Conduct research and analyze data to support the development of innovative product solutions.
- Leverage your engineering and design skills to create functional and aesthetically pleasing prototypes.

Location
PwC has numerous offices across the United States. The specific location for this internship will be determined based on the intern’s qualifications, the firm’s needs, and the presence of a strong Connected Physical Products practice.
