1st Modern Finance Conference (MFC)

Summary:

The 1st Modern Finance Conference (MFC) is inviting finance researchers and practitioners to present their cutting-edge research and innovative ideas in Warsaw, Poland. Hosted by Kozminski University, the conference aims to cover various areas of finance and will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online sessions. The event will feature keynote speeches, paper presentations, poster sessions, and a ‘Meet the Editors’ panel session. Prizes will be awarded for the best papers, and selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in prestigious academic journals. The conference will take place from September 15-17, 2024.

Requirements:

Researchers and practitioners in finance are invited to submit their papers (or extended abstracts) in English by June 30, 2024, through the conference’s submission system. There is no submission fee. Accepted authors will be notified within four weeks. The registration deadline is August 15, 2024. Participants can choose between in-person and online attendance options.

The 1st Modern Finance Conference will be held at Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland, from September 15-17, 2024.

Conference Fees:

Early bird registration, with payment by June 30, 2024:
– Main author (in-person presentation): 300 EUR
– Attending co-author (in person): 250 EUR
– PhD student (in person): 200 EUR
– Additional paper fee: 150 EUR
– Online participant (main author or co-author): 150 EUR

Regular registration, with payment by August 15, 2024:

– Main author (in-person presentation): 400 EUR
– Attending co-author (in person): 350 EUR
– PhD student (in person): 300 EUR
– Additional paper fee: 200 EUR
– Online participant (main author or co-author): 200 EUR

Additionally, there will be a Gala Dinner Fee of 50 EUR.
