The United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) wants YOU! Join the Youth for Biosecurity Fellowship and become a leader in preventing the misuse of biological agents.

What is the Fellowship?

This exciting program provides young scientists (under 35) from developing countries with an online training program and a field visit to Geneva, Switzerland. You’ll gain valuable knowledge and experience in:

  • Biosecurity and disarmament
  • The Biological Weapons Convention (BWC)
  • Diplomacy and international relations

Are you Eligible?

To apply, you must be:

  • A citizen of a developing country (check the OECD list)
  • Under 35 years old
  • Have a master’s degree in life sciences (or a related field)
  • Strong in written and spoken English
  • Female applicants are encouraged to apply!
