The scholarship is called Women In Transition Undergraduate Scholarship. It is offered by The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting (EFWA). The scholarship is designated for female US citizens attending an accredited US school pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. The scholarship is designated for a woman who is the primary source of support for her family and is enrolling as an incoming freshman. The scholarship covers partial funding, up to USD 16,000 over four years as determined by the Board of Trustees. The scholarship will be renewed annually upon completion of satisfactory course work as evidenced by a 3.0 GPA.

Deadline for submitting applications is April 30, 2024.

Requirements:

  • The applicant must be a female US citizen.
  • The applicant must be enrolling as an incoming freshman.
  • The applicant must be the primary source of support for her family.
  • The applicant must be attending an accredited US school pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • The applicant must maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Benefits:

  • The scholarship covers partial funding, up to USD 16,000 over four years as determined by the Board of Trustees.
  • The scholarship will be renewed annually upon completion of satisfactory course work as evidenced by a 3.0 GPA.
