Summary:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern for their Space Systems Sector in Dulles, VA. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to mission and space vehicle systems engineering activities. Responsibilities include developing requirements, design, integration, and testing of air and space payloads, spacecraft buses, satellites, and space systems. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, engineering, or related field, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Requirements:
– Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
– Majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or related field.
– Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Qualifications:
– Knowledgeable in aerospace systems, spacecraft subsystems design, or mission operations.
– Familiarity with advanced modeling and analyses related to mission and technical problems is preferred.
– Ability to contribute to new business activities such as conceptual design and analysis for proposals and studies.

Salary range:
$24.75 – $30.50 per hour for Bachelor’s degree candidates, $36.25 – $38.25 per hour for Master’s degree candidates.
