Sustainability Engagement Intern

Penn State Sustainability, supported by PepsiCo, is seeking a dedicated intern to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement creative initiatives that empower the Penn State community to embrace a more sustainable future.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at Penn State University
• Strong understanding of sustainability principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with project management, event planning, or social media engagement (a plus)
• Creative and resourceful with a passion for promoting sustainability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing engaging sustainability awareness campaigns
• Conduct research and identify opportunities for promoting sustainable behaviors on campus
• Support the planning and execution of sustainability events and workshops
• Manage social media channels to promote sustainability initiatives
• Collaborate with student organizations and campus departments on sustainability projects
