Summer Computer Technician Intern

This is a temporary summer internship opportunity for a highly motivated individual to gain valuable experience in the field of educational technology. You will assist the IT department with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems in Calvert County Public Schools.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a computer science, information technology, or related field (or recent graduate)
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a technical support environment (a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with computer installation, troubleshooting, and repair
• Provide technical support to staff and students
• Maintain and update computer systems and software
• Document technical issues and resolutions
• May assist with other IT department projects as assigned
