DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Scholarships
The DAAD Development-Related Postgraduate Scholarships offer foreign graduates from development and newly industrialized countries the opportunity to pursue postgraduate or Master’s degrees at state or state-recognized German universities. In exceptional cases, doctoral degrees are also supported. The scholarship aims to provide university qualifications (Master’s/PhD) in Germany for professionals with at least two years of professional experience. It is a chance to enhance skills, gain international exposure, and contribute to global development.
Scholarships Information:
Host Country: The scholarship program is hosted in Germany.
University: Participants can study at state or state-recognized German universities.
Sponsor: The scholarships are sponsored by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Eligible Countries: Citizens of development and newly industrialized countries from all disciplines are eligible to apply. Applicants must have at least two years of professional experience and receive an unconditional offer for a postgraduate or Master’s degree at a German university. The scholarship aims to create future decision-makers and partners for Germany in various fields important for development and global problem-solving.
Degree: The scholarship supports both postgraduate and Master’s degree programs. In exceptional cases, doctoral degrees may also be considered.
