The U.S. Department of State’s Professional Fellows Program (PFP) is searching for YOU! This fully-funded exchange program is designed to empower emerging leaders from Eurasia to develop their skills, build lasting partnerships with U.S. counterparts, and address challenges back home.

Eligibility:
- Citizen and resident of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia, Turkey, or Ukraine (with some exceptions).
- Demonstrated leadership and expertise in your field (government, civil society, or private sector).
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to collaborate in a multicultural environment.

Are you a rising star aged 25-35 with a drive to improve your community?
Do you work in government, civil society, or the private sector in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia, Turkey, or Ukraine?
The U.S. Department of State’s Professional Fellows Program (PFP) is your chance to shine! This fully-funded exchange program empowers emerging leaders from Eurasia to develop their skills, build bridges with U.S. counterparts, and tackle challenges back home.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Customized Fellowship: Spend four weeks working on real-world projects at a U.S. non-profit organization, business, or government agency tailored to your expertise. (e.g., working on environmental policy with an NGO in California or public health initiatives with a government agency in Texas).
- Leadership Development: Hone your leadership skills through workshops, seminars, and mentorship opportunities. Learn to be a more effective communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver in an international setting.
- Cultural Immersion: Live with an American family and experience U.S. culture firsthand. Participate in community service projects that address local needs and give back to the host community.
- Expand Your Network: Build lasting connections with U.S. professionals in your field and fellow PFP participants from across Eurasia. This network can be a valuable resource for future collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Project Development: Design a concrete plan, called a Reciprocal Project, to address a specific challenge in your home community upon return. The PFP program will support you in implementing this project and making a real difference.
Are you a perfect fit?
- You are a citizen and current resident of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia, Turkey, or Ukraine (with some exceptions for displaced Ukrainians).
- You have a proven track record of leadership and expertise in government, civil society, or the private sector, relevant to the program themes (Governance & Society or Innovation & Entrepreneurship).
- You have at least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience under your belt.
- You are fluent in both written and spoken English to effectively participate in the program.
- You are a self-motivated individual who thrives in a cross-cultural environment, eager to learn, adapt, and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.
