The Los Angeles Dodgers are currently offering an exciting internship opportunity for the role of Stadium Operations Intern. This internship is part of the Stadium Operations department and provides a 3-month program located in Los Angeles, CA. The selected intern will receive a pay rate of $17.00 per hour and will also be provided with a housing stipend. The application deadline is January 12, 2024. Interviews for the 2024 Internship positions will be conducted in March 2024.

The responsibility of the Transportation Department within the Stadium Operations team is to plan and execute traffic operations for all events hosted at Dodger Stadium. This includes coordinating parking for both staff and fans during games and various other events such as concerts, festivals, organized runs, and private rentals. The department ensures smooth traffic flow on event days through radio communication and monitoring from a control room.

The plans for game and event parking involve collaboration with the preferred parking vendor to deploy parking staff to the necessary locations. This includes parking cashiers collecting payments at entry gates, traffic directors guiding cars to assigned lots, parking lot attendants assisting fans in finding individual parking spaces, and crosswalk attendants ensuring the safety of fans crossing the roads to and from the stadium entrances.

  • Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Currently a rising sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree OR currently enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
  • Availability to live and work in Los Angeles or the assigned office location throughout the 3-month program during the summer months.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Passionate about working with a professional sports team.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset.
