Sports Development Volunteer Program in Trinidad and Tobago - International Volunteer HQ
This program, offered by International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ), lets you contribute to the physical well-being and development of young students in Trinidad and Tobago. You’ll assist with physical education classes at a school located in Black Rock, helping students learn and enjoy a variety of sports and games.

Location
The program is based in Black Rock, a community in Trinidad. You’ll be placed at a local school within this area, working with students directly.
Fees
IVHQ offers program fees that start at an affordable price, around $620 for a week. This fee covers your accommodation with other volunteers (including breakfast), airport pick-up, project placement, 24/7 in-country support, and an orientation session. Program lengths range from 1 to 4 weeks.
Volunteer Requirements
- Age 18 or older (Families can also participate)
- Enthusiasm for sports and a passion for physical education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with young students
- Ability to teach and coach a variety of sports and games in a fun and engaging way
- A willingness to learn about the local culture and integrate it into your teaching
