About The Grant:

The Sports and Education Grant Program is a notable collaboration between FIFA and UNESCO, established with the primary objective of improving education for children in 200 countries. With a substantial grant fund totaling $500,000, the program is committed to making a lasting and meaningful impact on the education, development, and empowerment of approximately 700 million children globally. By providing financial support and resources, the program aims to create opportunities that will enable these children to thrive, acquire valuable life skills, and contribute positively to their communities and societies at large.

The main objective of the grant program:

The objectives of the grant is to advance targeted life skills and competencies through the medium of football, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and other global priorities.

The Sports and Education Grant Program aims to:
a) Empower learners by equipping them with crucial life skills and competencies.
b) Empower coach-educators through training to deliver life skills-focused sports and activities.
c) Strengthen the capacity of schools, Member Associations (MAs), and public authorities to provide life skills training in football.
d) Encourage collaboration among governments, MAs, and schools for partnerships, alliances, and regional cooperation.

Eligibility Criteria:

This grant opportunity is open to schools, educators, caregivers, and youth football/soccer clubs, who are eligible to apply.

$50,000.
