From coaching to curriculum development, you’ll play a vital role in making a positive impact on children’s lives through engaging and enriching sports programs.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong passion for sports and a desire to work with children.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate children in a positive and encouraging manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to camp locations (mostly elementary schools) within the Greater Twin Cities metro area.
Responsibilities:
- Actively coach children between the ages of 2-12 years in various sports camps, including basketball, soccer, and flag football.
- Prepare and deliver engaging curriculum that fosters a fun and positive learning environment.
- Assist with camp set-up, equipment management, and administrative tasks.
- Communicate effectively with parents, volunteers, and other staff members.
- Contribute to the overall success of the camp program by upholding safety standards and promoting a positive sports culture.
