What you’ll do:

  • Analyze potential social risks and impacts of IFC’s investments.
  • Develop solutions to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance with IFC’s Environmental and Social (E&S) Performance Standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure responsible project development.
  • Guide clients on best practices in social risk management.
  • Contribute to training programs on sustainability for IFC staff and clients.

Who you are:

  • A highly motivated professional with a Master’s degree in a relevant field (Sociology, Anthropology, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social impact assessment and management, ideally in the private sector.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, with Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
  • Ability to travel extensively and thrive in a multicultural environment.
