Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in safety, engineering, or a related field (e.g., industrial hygiene, environmental science)
- Strong commitment to safety principles and a proactive approach to risk prevention
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with safety inspections of foundry equipment, buildings, and work processes
- Participate in the investigation of safety incidents and near misses
- Help develop and implement safety improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the creation of safety training materials
- Support safety awareness programs for employees
