Summary:
In celebration of The University of Buckingham receiving its Royal Charter on February 11, 1983, the University has established a new Scholarship Scheme for outstanding applicants pursuing research degrees. PhD candidates across the seven Schools of the University will receive awards in 2023, while MA/MSc by Research candidates will be awarded annually from 2023 until 2025. Starting from 2026, the scheme will be renamed the ‘University of Buckingham 50th Anniversary’ Research Scholarship scheme (U50A), commemorating the University’s incorporation in 1976 as the University College at Buckingham. Eligible candidates should have an excellent academic profile, including a Distinction at Master’s level and/or in the Master’s dissertation project, along with a strong CV and outline proposal.

- International Students: Successful international applicants will only be charged the difference between the UK and international fee rate, with the remainder of their fees covered by the University. Similar to home students, they will contribute to Departmental projects.
