The United Nations Office of Legal Affairs is offering a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of international law. The 2024 International Law Fellowship Programme is now open for applications.

What is the Programme?

This programme provides high-quality training on various international law topics led by renowned scholars and practitioners. It fosters interactive learning through lectures, seminars, and discussions, promoting collaboration and a better understanding of contemporary legal issues.

Who can apply?

The programme is designed for government officials and international law teachers from developing countries and countries with emerging economies. Up to 20 participants will be selected.

What are the benefits?

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of international law and the UN’s legal work.
  • Network with colleagues from around the world.
  • Participate in an intensive summer course held at the prestigious Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands. (Travel costs and a stipend are included.)
