The Rhodes Scholarship might cover a third year for students aiming for a DPhil (PhD), but you’ll need to apply.
Who can apply?
- Check your passport: Make sure you’re from a country eligible for the scholarship (see the list online).
- Got good grades? You’ll need a strong academic record and meet Oxford’s tough standards. In Canada, that means a GPA of at least 3.75 out of 4.0.
- How old are you? Age limits vary, but most are 18-28 by October of the year after selection. Check your specific country’s rules.
- Successful students will come to Oxford in October, following the selection process. In most cases, the scholarship cannot be delayed.
