Summary:

The AUCTF, launched by the African Union’s Women, Gender, and Youth Directorate (WGYD) in partnership with GIZ African Union, aims to strengthen citizen engagement across Africa through innovative digital technologies. This 12-month initiative supports scalable civic tech solutions that empower citizens and drive transformative action. It builds effective models of citizen participation, influences policy, and fosters collaboration among grantees. Areas of focus include youth empowerment, civic engagement, governance innovation, peacebuilding, security, and gender equality.

Dynamic African organizations, initiatives, and projects aligned with the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
