Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program that is approved by the CAAHEP or CoARC as a second year student in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate verbally with Associates, Physicians, and other outside professionals.
• Ability to understand principles and implement basic procedures of infection control and aseptic technique.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred.
• A desire to learn about respiratory equipment and its role in patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels of respiratory equipment and supplies.
• Process and track equipment orders, ensuring timely delivery to meet patient needs.
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing respiratory equipment.
• Clean and maintain respiratory equipment according to established protocols.
• Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks related to respiratory supplies.
• Learn about various respiratory therapy procedures and the importance of proper equipment management for patient care (as applicable).
• Participate in departmental meetings and training opportunities (as applicable).
