The AHRQ Small Health Services Research Grant Program (R03) supports diverse projects examining the organization, financing, quality, and delivery of healthcare services. Funded studies typically involve:

• Pilot and feasibility studies
• Secondary analysis of existing data
• Small, self-contained research projects
• Development of research methodology
• Development of new research technology

• Public and private institutions of higher education

• U.S.-based or foreign organizations in partnership with a U.S. institution
