Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field (Junior or Senior year).
  • Strong academic background in science courses.
  • Eagerness to learn and a passion for scientific research.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior scientists with laboratory tasks, including sample preparation, chromatography, and mass spectrometry techniques.
  • Participate in data analysis and learn to interpret scientific results.
  • Contribute to ongoing research projects and potentially design and conduct your own intern-focused experiment.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
