This fellowship is a fantastic opportunity for journalists from low- and middle-income countries to gain firsthand experience covering the 29th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29). Fellows will travel to Baku, Azerbaijan, and report on the critical negotiations and developments shaping the global response to climate change.

Eligibility
- Be a professional journalist working for a recognized media outlet in a low- or middle-income country.
- Commitment to attend COP29 in Baku for the entire fellowship duration (November 9-24, 2024).
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Proven experience reporting on climate change issues.
- A clear plan for the stories you intend to pursue during COP29.
- Ability to participate fully in all fellowship activities.
- Submit an updated resume/CV and a letter of support from your editor confirming the publication of your COP29 reports.
