Reporting & Content Volunteer

Onsite Reporting & Content Development Coordinator Volunteer with UNDP at Pakistan

Summary:

This opportunity is open for Pakistanis or legal residents in Pakistan who are aged between 18 to 80. It will be for 12 months with possibility of extension and the volunteer is expected to start at 12/08/2024.

Volunteer’s tasks may include but not limited to the following:

  • Develop content inclusive of narratives of marginalized groups and identities, particularly in the context of Project Programming and Climate Action.
  • Design and facilitate in executing digitally fluent communication strategies and plans, especially pertaining to Climate Activism and Resilience; focusing on vulnerable community members – especially women, girls, transgender persons, and differently abled individuals.
  • Develop content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and for the project’s website to enhance the project’s visibility and projection.
  • Coordinate with Field teams on the collection of Data and on the implementation of Activities in order to contextualize the content developed/to be developed.
  • Develop Case-Studies, Press Releases, Blog-Posts, Human Interest Stories, Photo Stories, Case-Studies and other publications for effective project outreach; while ensuring diversity and inclusion.
  • Support the Project’s Communications and Reporting Officer in the development of the Project’s Quarterly, Bi-annual, and Annual Reports.
  • Develop impactful (internal and external) reports on project progress and ensure the collection of data from the provincial and field teams.
  • Ensure collection of relevant evidence to support Project Reporting
  • Develop impactful PowerPoint Presentations for meetings and events
  • Write blogs, newspaper supplements, articles and briefs based on the project’s key areas and interventions
  • Develop climate centric proposals, ToRs, Concept Notes, Activity Briefs, Brochures and talking points

Location:

The assignment will be at Islamabad, Pakistan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in visual arts, graphic designing and/or in related field from recognized institute.
  • 3 years of experience in Business management OR related field.
  • Working knowledge of English Language is required.
