Supply Chain and Purchasing Interns at Clark Associates have a significant role in areas such as product development, strategic sourcing, negotiation, inventory control, forecasting, and marketing. They collaborate closely with department leaders and coordinate with vendors, stores, and distribution centers to ensure the smooth movement of valuable inventory to the end user. Interns also have the autonomy to take ownership of their responsibilities.
This full-time position is based in Lancaster, PA, and offers hybrid work options for candidates within a 2-hour driving radius, providing flexibility in the work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors, products, and brands.
- Generate and evaluate reports to provide insights and recommendations on competitive pricing, demand planning, forecasting, and stocking strategies.
- Investigate and assess sourcing and logistical alternatives for product acquisition.
- Utilize Microsoft Power BI and our proprietary inventory management system to extract and analyze data.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure consistent availability of products.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to promote products effectively.
