Summary:
HNTB Corporation, a leader in infrastructure design and engineering, is seeking a passionate and motivated intern to join its Public Engagement and Communications team for Summer 2024. Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field (e.g., English, marketing).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content. Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., graphic design software).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Interest in infrastructure development and its impact on communities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and implementing public engagement strategies for HNTB projects.
- Research and draft content for press releases, social media posts, and other communication materials.
- Support with media relations activities, such as creating media lists and monitoring news coverage.
- Attend public meetings and community events, potentially taking notes and gathering feedback.
- Assist with creating presentations and other visual communication materials.
