As a Product Management intern at Smith Micro, you will have the unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the product roadmap established by the Product Management team. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring the product’s features and functionality are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with providing vision and guidance to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, actively contributing to the creation of requirements.
  • Assist in refining the product vision, roadmap, and identifying potential growth opportunities.
  • Support the planning of product release schedules and effectively manage expectations for the delivery of new functionalities.
  • Develop an understanding of strategies to mitigate obstacles that may hinder the successful achievement of release goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analyze the market landscape, user needs, and product roadmap.
  • Cultivate a solid comprehension of Agile/Scrum best practices and remain updated on emerging trends.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with relevance to the internship.
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate a creative mindset and a strong vision.
  • Display meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to delivering work of the highest quality.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
