Main Responsibilities of Procurement Analyst at UNDP

- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including drafting solicitation documents, bid evaluations, and contract management.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and ensure value-for-money procurement.
- Collaborate with project teams to forecast procurement needs and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with international and local regulations, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Provide technical support and capacity-building initiatives to stakeholders on procurement practices.
Qualifications and Experience of Procurement Analyst at UNDP
- A Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor negotiations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
