Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or a related field (minimum sophomore year)
  • Strong academic performance with a focus on relevant coursework
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks, Creo, etc.) and design software (Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, etc.) (a plus)
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design thinking methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior consultants with various project phases, including user research, concept development, prototyping, and design for manufacturability.
  • Gain exposure to the exciting field of connected physical products, where physical objects integrate with digital technologies (IoT).
  • Participate in client meetings (as appropriate) and develop strong communication skills.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to support the development of innovative product solutions.
  • Leverage your engineering and design skills to create functional and aesthetically pleasing prototypes.
