Summary:
Postdoctoral fellows, who should hold a relevant PhD degree not older than five years, play a critical role in generating new knowledge, transferring knowledge and skills, and expanding existing research and ideas.
Application Requirements:
Eligibility criteria: Fellowships are open to South African and foreign nationals for full-time research at the University of the Free State. Applicants must have a PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in Bioinformatics and Bioremediation.
Fellowship Benefits:
Postdoctoral fellows are not university employees and do not qualify for employee benefits, including retirement funding or medical aid.
Fellowship Type:
These are Postdoctoral Research Fellowships.
Award Fellowships:
The fellowships are valued at R250,000 per annum for a maximum of two (2) years.
