Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Geography, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to research and interpret data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and GIS software (preferred)
- A passion for creating livable and sustainable communities
Responsibilities
- Assist with research and analysis related to land use planning, zoning, or development projects
- Draft planning documents, reports, and presentations
- Participate in public outreach activities and community meetings.
- Assist with data collection and analysis tasks to support planning initiatives
- Learn about the City’s planning processes and regulations
