Summary:
UNICEF in Korea is searching for a physician volunteer. In particular, the candidate must be aged 27-80, and be a national of a country other than Korea. The volunteer, under the supervision of the Deputy Representative Operations, will provide medical services within the UN Clinic/Dispensary. Additionally, they will be responsible for attending to emergencies and delivering medical care to UN staff, their dependents, and non-UN members of the diplomatic community in DPRK. Moreover, they will handle serious emergencies, manage trauma cases, supervise clinic staff, procure medical supplies, maintain records, and facilitate medical evacuations. The expected outputs include efficient clinic management, attention to emergencies, and applying an age, gender, and diversity perspective. A final statement of achievements will be provided at the end of the assignment.
Notably, the initial duration of this assignment is set for 12 months, with the potential for an extension.

Volunteer Requirements:
- Master degree or equivalent in Medicine, from an accredited University and currently licensed to practice within home country or other nations jurisdiction.
- Fluent in English.
- At least 5 years of experience in general medicine.
- Surgical, ICU, aeromedical, or anesthetic experience is an advantage.
- Previous UN medical system/international medical experience is desirable.
