Scholarship Details:
United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is offering complete support for a PhD degree in the area of UAE priority sectors as part of the UAEU PhD scholarship 2024. All nations are eligible for the scholarship. Depending on the scholarship you are applying for, different deadlines apply. To be considered, candidates must meet the requirements for PhD admission, not be financially or professionally supported, and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 for master’s degree applicants. Applicants must submit a dissertation in one of the primary industries in the UAE: renewable energy, transportation, health, water, technology, or space.
Eligibility Criteria:
For those applying for a master’s degree, it is necessary to have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0. Additionally, the candidate should refrain from receiving financial support or having a job while pursuing the degree. Furthermore, the candidate must submit a dissertation focused on one of the key industries in the UAE, specifically renewable energy, transportation, health, water, technology, or space. Finally, candidates must fulfill all the conditions for Ph.D. admission to be eligible for the program.
Benefits:
The scholarship includes a full tuition waiver, monthly stipend, health insurance (if required), and up to AED 3,000 from the supervisor’s external research project or up to AED 2,000 from the supervisor’s internal research project. The scholarship covers full tuition, offers a monthly stipend, and provides health insurance (if required). The supervisor’s research project can also offer up to AED 3,000 externally or up to AED 2,000 internally.
