Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the first or second year of a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to build rapport with patients.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy for safe medication dispensing.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer skills and pharmacy software applications (learning willingness is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on their medications, explaining usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
• Learn medication dispensing procedures under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist with processing prescriptions and insurance verification.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory control.
• Contribute to patient education initiatives and medication adherence programs.
