Details:
A partial financing scholarship of up to USD 17,000 is offered by the National Overseas Scholarship 2024. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment provides the scholarship to low-income students who fall into one of the following categories: landless agricultural laborers, Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, and Traditional Artisans. These students want to study abroad for a Master’s or Ph.D. The scholarship is available to Indian citizens only. The Program offers financial aid to the chosen applicants so they can pursue Ph.D. and Masters level programs overseas at institutions and universities recognized by the government or other authorized bodies of that nation in any subject area. The Scheme will provide 125 new prizes in each Selection Year, contingent on funding availability.
Requirements:
The family’s total income during the previous fiscal year, from all sources combined, should not have exceeded 8 lakhs.
