Oregon Student Assistant

Superfund Research Center

The Oregon State University Superfund Research Center focuses on identifying and measuring Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the environment. The center aims to characterize the toxicity of PAHs and determine safe levels for human health. Led by Dr. Robyn Tanguay, the center collaborates with a multidisciplinary team experienced in PAH and environmental health research. Their work extends to petrogenic forms of PAHs found within crude oil, especially since the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
